Bio

Craig was born in Cape Town in the 60’s and grew up in Port Elizabeth where he studied Graphic Design before moving to Johannesburg where he enjoyed a successful career in design and advertising, winning numerous international creative awards.

He was chairman of the SA design body and was elected as a judge at the Loerie Awards. Craig owned his own design company for 14 years culminating in its sale to the Publicis Groupe in 2013, when he was appointed Head of Content for Publicis Media South Africa.

He has lectured at the University of Pretoria Dept of Information Design and the AAA School of Advertising where he was also the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony in 2015.

Craig recently spent 4 years in Seychelles during which time he wrote a screenplay for a feature film and spent time refining his painting skills and exploring painting techniques before returning to Cape Town. He recently secured the rights as the exclusive reseller of Salvador Dali artwork in South Africa.

Craig works mainly in oils on canvas or board. His subject matter includes landscapes, portraits, seascapes, figures and abstract.
