Paryskivi Le Roux

As an artist,  she has been captivated by the emotions that Mother Earth would express if she had a voice. The devastation and betrayal caused by human actions would manifest in her cries for balance and survival.

Through her art, she personifies these emotions poetically, capturing her struggle to overcome the constant onslaught of greed and destruction. To bring this vision to life, she uses a range of media such as Indian ink, acrylic paint, metallic watercolour, and watercolour.

With a meticulous eye for detail, she creates landscapes that embody the drama of these emotions through stark contrasts. Using various pens, she brings movement and depth to the pieces, playing with perspective, tonality, and other rendering techniques.  Her goal as an artist goes beyond just creating stunning visuals.

She want’s her work to inspire those who see it to look deeper within themselves, to acknowledge their role in contributing to the planet’s plight, and to make changes that show respect and honour to the only home we have:  Earth.

Through her art,  she hopes to spark a movement of consciousness and positive action, one brushstroke at a time.
